Physical fitness is a key
component in the development of an Air Force officer
and should never be
taken lightly.
The Physical Fitness
Assessment
(PFA) consists of sit-ups, push-ups, a 1.5-mile run, and your abdominal
measurement. It comprises the mandatory physical fitness standards required
by AFROTC to:

Activate or retain an AFROTC scholarship and Meet
the POC Selection Program (PSP) Board,
attend Field Training (FT),
successfully complete FT
and remain in good standing
as a Professional Officer Course (POC) cadet through commissioning
PFA Scoring System
Sit-ups:
10 possible points
Push-ups:
10 possible points
1.5-Mile Run:
50 possible points
Abdominal

30 possible points

composite score of 75 or higher. Scores
will be calculated on the score sheet using the
